About NSCDC job
The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) is a paramilitary institution established to protect government properties nationwide.
It was first introduced on May 2003, by the Nigerian Government as Lagos civil defence.
They also help to protect private property and lives against damage. They do so by complementing the other security apparatus of the state to help reduce crime rate to the minimum.
Candidates who have confirmed their names on the recruitment list should proceed to the next phase which is screening exercise.
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps will updated confirmed candidates on the date for the screening exercise.
Recall that the NSCDC Recruitment examination for applicants was CBT and physical exercises, successful candidates are to check their names on the final list. HERE
Over Six thousand, Five hundred (6,500) candidates were Shortlisted and they are to start physical screening from 2nd to 25th August, 2023. Interested candidates should take note.
Shortlisted Candidates are to print the recruitment slip from the NSCDC portal and come along with it to the screening centre’s.
This printed recruitment slip with other important documents will help the NSCDC officials screen the candidates properly.
Ensure you carry the printed recruitment slip along side other documents are ready as you have been told in the letter you received from NSCDC.

How To Check Your Name On The NSCDC Shortlisted Candidates 2023
To check your name on NSCDC Shortlisted Candidates 2023, follow the procedure below;
- Visit www.cdfipb.careers
- Login with your phone number, email and password.
- As soon as the cdfipb dashboard finish loading, click on Shortlisted Status
- Click on the link and you if NSCDC has shortlisted you, a message will tell you that.
NSCDC Motto:
The NSCDC motto is short and simple but has a deep meaning, the motto is DEFENDING THE DEFENCE LESS.
Note that NSCDC physical training lasts about 5 to 6 months of active training. It is not as lengthy as the Nigerian Army physical training.
It is very important to note that NSCDC will shortlist candidates with have the required qualifications.
